I want to combine foobar2000 and Stereo Tool. I want the processing to be done by Stereo Tool but I can't get it to work. https://developerclever.amebaownd.com/posts/17906638. I've tried to install 'Foobar2000 VST 2.4 adapter' and 'Foobar2000 VST Wrapper' but none of them seem to recognize dspstereotool.dll. I have tried different versions of foobar and Stereo Tool but still. VST 2.4 adapter (foovst) Allows Foobar2000 users to use VST 2.4 plug-ins equally with “native” ones. George Yohng's VST Wrapper (foodspvstwrapper) Enables VST plug-ins. VST Host (foodspvst) Adds support to Virtual Studio Technology audio interface.

Hi, I'm a newbie here and just bought ARC (for some reason I wasn't aware of ARC 2 at the time and I guess the store had an old version in stock).
I bought it to use with Cubase 7, but would also like to use ARC plugin with Foobar2000 for general listening, as that's the way I play mixes for ppl if I don't want to start up the DAW just to play a tune, and for rec. listening.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for me. I've got both the Foobar VST wrapper 2.4, and the George Yeong (sp?) VST adapter, but either way selecting the ARC plugin as a VST plugin causes FB2K to crash every time. Vst

Also using the Foobar2000 ASIO component, audio is output via USB to a Cambridge Audio DAC. Also got an RME Fireface UFX. I tried selecting that as output in FB, but still the same result.
A friend suggested upgrading to ARC2, but I'm not keen on spending money on something I can't get working, just to see if it will after that.
It seems there is a new version of the ARC software to download, but I won't be able to try that until later this week. In the meantime, can anyone help? And if I can't get it to work, is there a work-around (eg run ARC free-standing somehow and route FB through that to my audio out?)
If I get that new version I take it I'll have to do my measurements again and generate a new set of data. Would the most current version likely make a difference anyway?
